OUR VISION
Our overarching goal with this volume is to bring together researchers who study aging and working, and aging and careers, from a lifespan developmental perspective. We aim to unite current thinking regarding the application of theories of lifespan development to the study of working and careers by offering informative and comprehensive reviews of the various tenets and predictions of lifespan theories, and in addition include individual reviews of research and novel elaborations of such theories.
Because no comprehensive text exists that both summarizes key tenets of lifespan theories and elaborates on how they apply to work, organizational life, and careers this novel volume will represent a comprehensive “handbook” to guide future thinking on these topics.

TABLE OF CONTENTS
You will notice that the text is organized into three main sections, the first being a general overview of contemporary lifespan development theories, the second focusing more specifically on lifespan theoretical perspectives on working and careers, and the third comprising applications of lifespan perspectives to specific work and organizational psychology topics.
